Growing up with a background in dance and music and his personal love of the hip hop and pop music genres in Los Angeles, Jonathan Englander emerged into the music scene at the age of thirteen with his debut single, “Just Like This”, which he wrote, sang and starred in the video for. It was followed up by two other singles, "Just you and I" and "Back on the Melody." Previously going by the name "JHammer," Jonathan decided to change his stage name to something more similar to his real name; using "Englander," his grandmother's maiden name, as his official stage name. With the global pandemic, he felt he wanted to write a message of hope and positivity to the world with his latest release, "Can't Rain Forever". He enjoys playing soccer, piano, and dancing hip-hop among other activities when he is not working on his music or in school. Some of the artists that influence Jonathan Englander musically are Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, OneRepublic, Bastille, The Script, & Imagine Dragons.
